Unstoppable by Tim Green

Unstoppable by Tim Green was inspired by real life cancer survivors including his wife. The book shows how people can be brave in all situations. This book is about a young boy names Harrison. Harrison was a foster child that went from foster home to foster home. He was abused both physically and mentally. Harrison was driven to violent outrages. Harrison wad finally placed in a loving foster home where all his dreams of becoming an NFL player could come true. But when he gets hit in the eye, that causes him to kill that person. Which later gets kicked out of the foster home.

Later in one of Harrisons games he was playing really great and then by the end he got hit in the knee and it was hurting him but he thought all the pain would go away. So the next game he played he was playing ok. It was because of that knee that was hurting him. He kept playing then. In that game Harrison got hit in the same knee he got rushed to the hospital and after some test he found out he got cancer on his left knee. They had to take us leg from the knee down and he got a fake leg. And he still liked the game of football he played with that leg and became the greatest football player in the NFL and became famous.

A quote they said to harrison alot was " tough luck" and what that means is life was hard for him and just to say tough luck is hard with no parents and living in a foster home. he became something great because he showed courage and he was brave.

How this book plays a role in my life is i am a football player to and want to become the best.but to show courage and be brave like harrison is a better football player and i want to become like harrison too . I really liked this book because it tells a good message. And anyone that likes football or sports should read this book for sure.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
By: Jeff Kinney

If you haven't read Diary of a Wimpy Kid yet, you haven't lived a life yet.
Its just plain and simple. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is one of the most easiest books to read.
(This is why I kind of read it for this assignment.) I really enjoyed this book.

Greg is a kid who doesn't want to go to middle school. He thinks it is the dumbest thing ever.
I think most kids agree that this is true. Most kids I think, don't enjoy coming to school. Like Greg, other kids and sometimes even me. Greg's brother thinks he cant survive, and so does Greg. But during the school year I think Greg does survive. Even though he has some ups and downs I think he survived.

I think that this book is a good book. I like it because it is basically a journal of Greg's everyday life.
This book also has a good definition of what it means to be a wimpy kid. Greg has wimpy kid written all
over him. That why i think Jeff Kinney wanted to write these books. That is my opinion on the book.

“I'll be famous one day, but for now I'm stuck in middle school with a bunch of morons." - Greg Heffley,”
― Jeff Kinney, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. That is what most kids think when they are stuck in the middle of class. I want to be famous but i cant when I am stuck in middle school.

I think you will enjoy this book because it just a funny book. If you ever do believe me you will really think what  I said is true. Thank you for reading my review on Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Among The Hidden

Among The Hidden
Margaret Peterson Haddix

Luke is a twelve year old boy who lives in a isolated area in the woods. Life is well until they start tearing down the nearby woods to build a new community. This usually wouldn't be too much of a problem, but Luke is a third child. In this country you are only allowed to have two children. If you do however have a third child and the population police find out, well let's just say you won't have three children anymore.
As the community gets finished all Luke does is sit in his attic and look out a little peep in the wall. He one day realizes that a house across the street from his house has a third child too, Luke ventures over to the house one day and meets the third child, her name is Jenny.
Jenny tells Luke about how she is going to attempt to overthrow the population police Luke doesn't really like the idea, and tries many times to warn Jenny not to go. But she goes anyways.

This book was very greatly written, it was full of action, cliff hangers and major plot twists. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a book series or simply a good read.
